European Partnership for Researchers

Following a Communication from the European Commission to the European Council and the European Parliament on May 28 2008, the European Partnership for Research is designed to help researchers build better careers and achieve greater mobility, and aims at strengthening national ownership. Its goals are to:

• systematically open up recruitment;
• meet the social security and supplementary pensions needs of mobile researchers;
• provide attractive employment and working conditions;
• enhance the training, skills and experience of researchers
