Are you about to defend your PhD or have you recently defended your PhD? Are you wondering what your possibilities are with a PhD certificate outside of academia? Then the Job Fair organized by the PhD Society of Leuven might be just for you!
The PhD Job Fair is the meeting point between PhD job seekers and companies. At the fair, there will be companies and organizations from different sectors, looking for young and talented individuals like you. This year’s edition is titled ‘Breaking walls, building stories’: getting over the wall between academia and industry can seem a daunting task. If we want to convince companies of the capabilities of PhD researchers, we have to break down this wall and build bridges instead.
New to this year’s Job Fair is the CV contest. Your task? Select a company of your choosing and draft a CV to promote yourself specifically for this company and/or function. Your CV will be judged for its creativity, relevance and completeness. The best CVs will be portrayed during the PhD Job Fair on the wall of fame, increasing you visibility for the present recruiters. We also offer an exciting reward for the winning CV!
